Quarterly Condition Assessment
A comprehensive 90-minute review of your hardware wallet's physical state, firmware, and backup storage, with a written report and next-visit scheduling.
Who This Is For
Holders who keep meaningful assets on cold storage and want documented, recurring proof that their devices remain physically sound and operationally ready. Most of our quarterly clients bring one or two devices — a primary wallet and occasionally a backup unit kept in a separate location.
What Happens During Your Visit
You arrive at our Guro-gu office with your device(s). We never ask to see your seed phrase or private keys. The session proceeds through four documented stages:
1. Intake and History Review
We record your device model, approximate purchase date, firmware version at last visit, and any incidents since then — drops, exposure to moisture, failed PIN attempts, or companion app changes.
2. Physical Examination
Under magnification and controlled lighting, we inspect the enclosure for cracks, port corrosion, button depression depth, and screen clarity. Wear is photographed and compared against images from your previous quarterly report when available.
3. Firmware and Connectivity Check
Connected in an isolated workstation, we verify the current firmware version against manufacturer recommendations, test USB or Bluetooth pairing integrity, and confirm the device derives addresses correctly on a testnet.
4. Seed Backup Storage Review
Without viewing your recovery words, we discuss and document how your seed is stored — material type, location, humidity exposure, and who else has access. We provide written recommendations if storage conditions have changed.
What You Receive
A printed and emailed condition report within 48 hours, including photographs, firmware status, wear measurements, storage recommendations, and your scheduled next quarterly date.
What Is Not Included
We do not perform fund transfers, exchange integrations, tax reporting, or investment guidance. Device repair and firmware updates can be discussed but are not performed during the assessment session.
