Assessment Process
Step-by-step guide to how Page Maple Path conducts hardware wallet condition assessments.
From Booking to Report
Every assessment at Page Maple Path follows a documented protocol developed from institutional vault inspection practices. Below is what to expect at each stage.
Booking and Intake
Submit an enquiry through our contact form or email contact@page-maplepath.click. We confirm your appointment within two business days and send a pre-visit checklist covering what to bring (your device, any previous reports) and what to leave at home (seed phrases written out).
Arrival and Check-In
At our Guro-gu office, you check in with the office manager and complete a brief intake form recording device model, approximate age, and any incidents since your last visit. Your device is assigned an assessment reference number for report tracking.
Physical Examination
The assessor examines your device under controlled lighting and magnification. Enclosure integrity, port condition, button responsiveness, and screen clarity are documented with photographs. Wear measurements are compared against your previous report when available.
Firmware and Signing Verification
On an isolated workstation with no internet access to live networks, the assessor verifies firmware version, tests connectivity, and performs a testnet signing check. Your PIN is entered by you — we never request or record it.
Seed Backup Discussion
Without viewing your recovery words, we discuss storage material, location, access control, and environmental conditions. Recommendations are noted for your report.
Report and Scheduling
Within 48 hours, you receive a printed and emailed condition report. Your next quarterly date is proposed and added to our schedule upon confirmation.

- A list of questions or concerns
What to Leave at Home
- Written seed phrases or recovery sheets
- Laptops with wallet software containing live accounts (not required for assessment)
