Seoul · Quarterly Assessments

Your hardware wallet deserves a thorough physical review

Page Maple Path inspects cold storage devices on a quarterly schedule — checking button wear, screen integrity, firmware status, and seed phrase backup storage before small issues become costly losses.

What We Examine

Four pillars of every condition report

Physical Enclosure

We document casing cracks, port corrosion, button responsiveness, and screen clarity on Ledger, Trezor, Coldcard, and other common devices. Wear patterns are photographed and compared against your previous visit.

Firmware & Connectivity

Current firmware version, update history, and USB or Bluetooth pairing integrity are verified in a controlled environment. We flag outdated versions and incompatible companion apps.

Seed Backup Storage

We review how your recovery phrase is stored — metal plates, paper envelopes, or split shares — without ever asking to see the words themselves. Storage location, humidity exposure, and access control are assessed.

Operational Readiness

A basic signing test on a testnet address confirms the device still derives keys correctly. PIN entry speed, passphrase workflows, and passkey compatibility are noted in your quarterly report.

Quarterly Condition Assessment

Our flagship service covers a 90-minute in-office session where a trained assessor examines one or two devices, produces a written condition report, and schedules your next quarterly visit. Ideal for holders who store significant assets offline and want documented proof of device health.

From Our Clients

Accounts from recent visits

After eighteen months of daily carry, my Trezor's buttons had become stiff enough that I worried about entering my PIN correctly. The assessor documented the wear, recommended a replacement before failure, and I had a new device migrated within the week.
— Min-jun H., quarterly client since 2022
The seed backup review was more useful than I expected. I thought my metal plate setup was fine, but humidity readings near my storage location suggested I should relocate it. The report was detailed, though I wish the scheduling window had been a bit wider.
— Sarah L., initial onboarding assessment
